Visiting the Spanish Horse training school in Vienna was an unforgettable experience! I was captivated by the morning exercises of the horses, showcasing their elegance and grace. At the start, they request guests not to take photos or videos of the horses throughout the show. The training session was remarkable, with trained riders skillfully guiding the horses through intricate movements. The horses’ fluid and precise motions highlighted their exceptional training and discipline. What impressed me the most was the evident bond between the horses and their riders. The trust and affection were clear, enhancing the experience greatly. The venue where the show took place was pristine, featuring beautifully maintained seating areas. The Institution boasts a rich history of 460 years in horse training and breeding. Highly recommended for: Horse lovers, equestrian enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a unique experience in Vienna!

It's an interesting site to see due to the beautiful architecture, and the history associated with their work and the horses. We attended the training session, which is hosted in a spacious room within the building. It's an hour long, but it can get a bit dull as the horses trot around while a narrative explains the history and work they do. It's engaging for the first 20 minutes, but it tends to become a bit tedious after that. Horse enthusiasts might find it more interesting.

Great show, location, and information. I suggest purchasing standing tickets for the 45-minute performance to keep costs reasonable. The horses galloped beautifully, showing off their jumps and balancing on their hind legs. (It's not a circus, though!)

We bought standing tickets online for a truly impressive show, though the view is partially blocked by pillars, it's manageable. I recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to ensure a good standing spot. Despite the printed ticket requirement, it's acceptable to show them on your phone, as ours weren't even scanned. There were multiple performances featuring both horses in training and fully trained horses, showcasing distinct skill levels. Information was provided in both German and English between each show. There are no breaks, so be sure to visit the restroom beforehand!
