Definitely a must-visit place. We bought the Vienna Pass, which cost €124 per person and included entry to Hofburg Palace. Make sure to reserve a ticket in advance, even if you have the Vienna Pass, to avoid being turned away. For the Sisi Museum, allocate about 1.5 to 2 hours for a relaxed visit. The museum is filled with history, personal belongings, dresses, and jewelry that truly transport you into her world.

Just visited Hofburg Palace, and it’s definitely a must-see in Vienna. The place is vast and steeped in history, as it was the primary residence of the Habsburgs for centuries. Walking around the exterior, you can truly sense the grandeur this place must have exuded. I didn’t go inside for the full tour, but even the architecture itself is noteworthy. The details on the buildings, the statues, and the expansive courtyards make it worth the visit. The surrounding area is lively, with spots like Heldenplatz and Michaelerplatz. History enthusiasts should definitely check out the Sisi Museum, the Imperial Apartments, or the Treasury where the crown jewels are kept.

It is a very beautiful and well-preserved place! We just visited the Sisi Museum! It was a pleasant experience, but I feel the tickets are a bit overpriced compared to what you see, especially considering the time you have there. It was quite crowded even though we had our tickets booked online with a specific time. Regardless, I believe that a visit to Vienna wouldn’t be complete without it!
