This gallery is absolutely stunning. The artwork on display is very diverse but all fits together beautifully, creating a unique and immersive experience. You really get a sense of Peggy's history and lifestyle in Venice, which adds a personal touch to the visit. The surrounding area is just as breathtaking, making the entire experience even more special. 100% recommend and would definitely visit again!
I have long wanted to get to this museum. The queue was not long, I waited at the ticket office for 10 minutes, or less. I came to the museum after 3:00 p.m. I managed to visit all the exhibitions and stop to think about each work. The museum has a cafe in the inner garden, which is very cozy, and there is also an exit to the Grand Canal from the main pavilion. The museum features many interesting works from the permanent exhibition, sculptures in the garden, and changing exhibitions.
The Peggy Guggenheim Collection is a gem, showcasing modern art in a historic palazzo. Picasso, Pollock, and more are displayed beautifully. The sculpture garden is a serene highlight. It's educational, with audio guides, but it can be crowded.
Peggy Guggenheim's collection in Venice offers a unique experience, bringing together works from leading modern artists like Dali, Picasso, and Kandinsky, showcasing the evolution of 20th-century art. I love this place. This visit is my second time.
One of my favorite museums anywhere in the world. Quite compact but very consistent and dense in terms of quality of art, particularly abstract, surrealist, futurist, cubism, and optic. My favorite Ernst paintings are here, certainly Magritte is amazing, Brancusi, Picasso, Dali, Pollock, Twombley, Klee, etc. It’s a private house and it looks like the collection was there to please the owner. I love this type of museums and collections, so it's no wonder I’m quite happy at Guggenheim every time I visit.
