Yonge-Dundas Square, known as the 'Times Square of Toronto', is a vibrant hub in downtown. It's filled with bright billboards, shops, and entertainment options. Whether you're just passing by, attending an event, or observing the crowd, the lively atmosphere here is fantastic.

A place that’s always buzzing with energy, there’s never a dull moment here. Surrounded by large screens, diverse eateries, shops, and offices. It’s also the starting point for the Toronto city sightseeing bus (Hop on hop off). Many talented artists perform here, showcasing music, dance, and other art forms. The vibe here is truly uplifting.

An iconic location thought to be the Canadian equivalent of Times Square. While I wouldn't say it’s completely on par yet, it’s still a nice place with plenty of people and shops. I would recommend visiting here.

Yonge-Dundas Square is situated at the junction of Yonge Street and Dundas Street East in Downtown Toronto, Ontario. This outdoor square attracts many locals and tourists who enjoy street performers, artists, dance, and street food, all under impressive billboards, with shopping centers and restaurants nearby. It’s a bustling area filled with food options. Be ready for loud music. Parking starts at $6.00 per hour and the crowd can vary - some friendly, some not. Don’t set your expectations too high. People often liken it to New York's 'Times Square', and while it might be, your experience depends on your perspective. Every city has unique offerings, so make the most of it!

I love that there are seating areas, shade, and it’s close to all shops, the Eaton Centre, and a variety of restaurants! The oversized chess set is fun for families, friends, or couples to enjoy moments together or with new people! The security is very active, friendly, and helpful. The hop on hop off tour bus stops here directly. Occasionally, exciting events are hosted, like the poutine festival, making great use of the space! It’s just a short walk to Nathan Phillips Square and conveniently located on the TTC line for easy access. I had a wonderful time!
