My first stop on the Toronto trip was Casa Loma, one of the furthest museums from the CN Tower, yet surprisingly worth the visit. I started the tour in the basement, and I highly recommend using the audio tour to enhance the experience. There is a fascinating video about the tower's history located in the basement by the swimming pool area, which lasts around 10 minutes. It's essential to watch this short film to make the experience worthwhile. The rest of the castle is incredible, with numerous intriguing details and spaces that evoke varied feelings, helping to experience history in unique ways. Overall, our tour (including the audio guide) took about 3 hours, with plenty of photos taken along the way. Despite visiting in the dead of winter, I had a fantastic time at the castle! Highly recommend!

I’ve visited Casa Loma several times over the years, and I find it just as enjoyable each time I go back. The castle is stunning, featuring beautiful architecture and impressive gardens. The interior rooms are rich in history, making it easy to get lost in the various hallways and secret passages. The views from the towers are amazing, providing a great perspective of Toronto. The staff were friendly, and it's a perfect spot for anyone interested in history, architecture, or just looking for a unique day out. I highly recommend Casa Loma for a fun and educational experience!

Visiting Casa Loma during winter is a magical experience! With fewer visitors, one can truly appreciate the grandeur of this historic castle without the crowds. The snow-covered exterior makes it look like it's from a fairy tale, and the ambiance inside is just as spectacular. Exploring the secret passage from Sir Henry Pellatt’s office to the wine cellar adds an element of mystery, while the wax figure exhibit brings history to life. The underground tunnel leading to the vintage car collection is another highlight, showcasing beautifully preserved classic automobiles. The view from the towers is breathtaking, presenting a panoramic view of Toronto’s skyline. Even in winter, the castle feels warm and inviting, making it a must-visit all year round. Tip: Winter is the ideal time for a peaceful experience—less crowded, beautifully decorated, and utterly enchanting!

I visited Casa Loma in the summer and had a wonderful time overall. The interior of the castle is absolutely lavish, making it a perfect spot for taking exquisite artistic portraits. There are also many interesting old pieces to see. The observation deck at the top of the castle was my favorite spot, providing an overview of beautiful downtown Toronto. One can only imagine the comfortable life the owner of the castle enjoyed while living here. The only downside is that the ticket and parking fees are relatively high, so I suggest carpooling if you plan to visit.
