We attended a lovely performance of A Christmas Carol at Campbell House. It was a truly wonderful evening—unique, touching, and charming, with top-quality performances. I would even rate it among my all-time favorite live shows, surpassing even Broadway productions. It really enhanced our holiday spirit! Kudos to everyone involved in this delightful production! 📜🌲

Campbell House is an intriguing and somewhat surreal little house due to its unexpected presence. When I visited, it was somewhat limited because they were preparing for a private event. However, the guide was enthusiastic and friendly, answering all my questions skillfully. Attending an event here must be quite nice, and I'm grateful that there are people dedicated to preserving it, especially considering what has happened to other historic buildings in the area.

Remarkable historic site! "Campbell House is the oldest surviving house from the original Town of York, built in 1822 by Chief Justice William Campbell and his wife Hannah. The home was designed for comfort and entertaining, constructed in a time when the Campbells were socially and economically established. It is one of the few remaining examples of Georgian architecture in Toronto, constructed in a grand Palladian style that emphasizes symmetry and grand proportions, reflecting wealth."
