We had an amazing visit to the National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo. The museum is vast, featuring fantastic exhibits like dinosaurs and interactive areas. It’s a perfect spot for families—the kids enjoyed the hands-on activities and the engaging displays! The layout is great and easy to move through, although it can get a bit busy on weekends. If you want to take your time exploring, I suggest visiting early in the day. Highly recommended for families and anyone interested in nature, history, and science!

Having visited many Natural History museums, this one stands out as possibly the best. It’s impressive in size and beauty, and you could easily spend an entire day here. While not all exhibits have English translations, there are enough available for non-Japanese speakers. I strongly recommend this museum, especially for families with children!

This museum is quite fascinating. There's a variety of engaging exhibits showcasing evolution from the Big Bang to current scientific advancements. It's particularly child-friendly with many interactive displays, but it's still enjoyable for adults to explore. There’s also a lovely rooftop area to relax after visiting all the exhibitions. Be aware that English descriptions are not consistent across exhibits, but guides are available if you need help. It can become quite busy, so plan your visit accordingly.

The museum is smaller than expected and has a limited collection spread over 4 floors. My family only needed about an hour to see everything. The museum has a somewhat vintage feel, but it is clean and well-kept.

Visiting this museum feels like a journey into the distant past, revealing Earth’s ancient secrets. The ambiance is tranquil, with dimly lit displays that emphasize the intricate details of fossils and dinosaur bones. The exhibits feature rare skeletons of dinosaurs, mammoths, early humans and more. Children can enter for free, and there's a convenient bag storage system to retrieve your 100 Yen deposit. The only downside is that aside from the skeletons, the rest felt a bit lackluster; my family went through the 6 floors in just an hour. Overall, it’s 4.5/5 for the dinosaur exhibits!
