This museum is dedicated to the renowned Swedish sculptor Carl Milles, famous for his monumental sculptures. He embraced both traditional and innovative styles, drawing inspiration from Ancient Greek, Roman, and Christian mythology, along with Swedish history. The museum provides a serene escape from the bustling tourist spots. Highly recommended!

It’s quite a trek up a long hill, but once you arrive, the tranquility is worth it. The site is well-maintained and very pleasant.

A beautiful museum located in a stunning setting. The main exhibit was somewhat limited, but the Frank House was truly gorgeous.

What a charming place! I adored the Art Brut. The sculpture garden is breathtaking, showcasing so many exquisite pieces. There’s a nice café too. It ranks at the top of my list for museums in Stockholm.

This is definitely our favorite spot in Stockholm during our weekend getaway. We arrived just before sunset, and the views in the garden were fantastic. It feels like a magical realm crafted by Milles and his wife, serving as both their imaginative sanctuary and final resting place. Although it’s a bit farther from central Stockholm, it’s absolutely worth the visit.
