I was captivated by its innovative style and the sense of wonder it brings. Visiting this iconic landmark is highly recommended. Also, staying at both the W Hotel and EDITION Hotel suites provided me with breathtaking views of this extraordinary structure, further showcasing its architectural excellence.

We have visited many observatories, and this one is among our favorites. The sheer glass and modern design, from the futuristic elevator to the all-glass deck, provide stunning views below and beyond. The best time to visit is at dusk; be sure to stop by the cafe to enjoy two views for the price of one.

As an architect who always admired the world's tallest buildings, seeing this incredible tower in person was a dream come true. Make sure to save your money for the Shanghai Tower viewing deck. If you plan to visit the SWFC, there are bars on the higher levels that I would highly recommend. I enjoyed a few beers with a colleague up there, and it was an unforgettable experience.

On March 3, 2024, the observatory deck was closed! So we opted to visit the Shanghai Tower instead.
