This is my absolute favorite spot in San Francisco. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but it’s a fantastic place to enjoy a good walk, sip coffee, and grab a quick bite. The true gem here is the rich history and the lovely surrounding ambiance. It's great to sit on a bench and simply take it all in.

There are nice shops here with some good food. It may be a bit pricey, but outdoor seating is available. The indoor seating is limited, yet there are bathrooms accessible as well.

I spent a week in California for wine business and had a great time at the Saturday market today before heading to the airport. This place is situated right on the bay, bustling with ferries coming and going. It's an excellent spot to shop, enjoy coffee, and relax.

Take the ferry to Sausalito from the Ferry Building for stunning views of the city, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Make sure to download a Clipper travel card to your phone to enjoy reduced fares, such as $7.50 instead of $14 each way. It's advisable to check the timetable, as ferry service only runs approximately every two hours. Arrive 10-15 minutes early to catch your ride. Inside the Ferry Building, you'll find numerous concession stands and shops offering coffee, snacks, and souvenirs.

This location boasts a variety of eateries, coffee shops, and souvenir stores, all rich in historical significance and architectural beauty. It's within walking distance to many other establishments. I particularly enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere during the summer when farmers markets are happening—definitely a must-visit!
