Boudin Bakery, situated at Fisherman’s Wharf, is an essential destination in San Francisco. Famous for its iconic sourdough bread, make sure to try their clam chowder served in a sourdough bowl, a classic dish. The atmosphere is welcoming, and you can observe the bread-making process while browsing through unique souvenirs. Service is efficient, even in peak hours, and pricing is reasonable considering the quality and prime location. A fantastic spot to connect with San Francisco’s culinary heritage. You won’t regret visiting!
A wonderful spot for dining near Fisherman’s Wharf. We came to the city as a family, and it was the perfect evening for enjoying soup in a sourdough bread bowl. The bread met my expectations, and I strongly recommend it! Our server was excellent, and the ambience was delightful. The location is top-notch as well. Everyone in our group enjoyed their dishes, and I found the menu selections impressive, along with a great drink and beer list. There’s even a lovely gift shop and museum on site. It may be touristy, but in a good way! You won’t be let down!
This was my second visit to the Bistro located on the upper floor above the bakery. The food and service were excellent. We ordered a variety of items, including ribs, filet mignon, clam chowder, chicken sandwich, French onion soup, and prime rib sandwich. The only slightly disappointing dish was the oven-roasted chicken and frites, which, while tasty, was a bit small in size.
Every day we spent in San Francisco, we made sure to stop for coffee, tea, and their amazing cinnamon scone. Everything was delicious, and the aroma of sourdough throughout the bakery was incredible. They offer high-quality products under their brand, along with unique gifts. There’s a counter for ordering meals throughout the day, plus a bar and restaurant upstairs, and both outdoor and indoor seating.
