Visiting the Vatican Museums is a must when in Rome, and I can’t recommend it enough! It’s one of the most important cultural and historical sites globally, with an endless collection of art, history, and beauty that leaves you in awe at every step. Be prepared for long lines—this place is always packed with visitors from all over the world. Despite the crowds, the line moves fairly smoothly, and the organization is well-handled. My biggest tip is: book your tickets online in advance! This will save you a lot of time and help you avoid unnecessary waiting. Once inside, you are transported into a world of artistic masterpieces. From the breathtaking Gallery of Maps to the Raphael Rooms, every corridor and hall is filled with history and wonder. The Sistine Chapel is the crown jewel of the entire visit—standing beneath Michelangelo’s legendary frescoes is an experience that simply cannot be put into words. In short, if you’re in Rome, this place is a must-visit, no matter what! It’s not just a museum; it’s a journey through centuries of art, culture, and human genius. Absolutely worth it!

Our family visit to the Vatican Museums was extraordinary! From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the sheer grandeur and historical significance of the exhibits. The Sistine Chapel was a highlight—Michelangelo's masterpiece left us in awe, and the detailed explanations from our guide made the experience even more enriching. The museum's collection of art and artifacts is impeccably curated, and every room felt like stepping into a different era of history. The kids were particularly fascinated by the Gallery of Maps and the stunning Raphael Rooms. The experience was both educational and inspiring. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring our visit was smooth and enjoyable. Despite the crowds, the organization was top-notch, and we never felt rushed. We highly recommend booking a guided tour to appreciate the depth of history and artistry on display. This is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Rome. Our family will cherish the memories for years to come. Thank you, Vatican Museums, for an unforgettable experience! 🙏

Amazing place, highly recommend visiting. Do NOT buy tickets in advance, just get them when you get there - save yourself 10 euros and some headache! The audio guides are not worth it - download a good one online and listen in your own headphones.

Beautiful exhibits, truly vast resources and an amazing experience. However, I recommend going to places that are not overly touristic. Even then, there are a lot of people, but you can look at everything peacefully and take photos.
