This area is incredibly vast; it takes several hours to see everything (not including the Colosseum). While it may not be visually stunning, it offers rich history and insights into how things once were.

Another highly popular destination in Rome. There's much to see, but it's best to know what you're looking at for a greater appreciation. Either read up online or book a local guide to understand the history that will transport you back to the fascinating ancient Rome. Be informed before your visit!

A magical place for history enthusiasts. You really need to use your imagination since it's quite in ruins. However, walking along its ancient paved roads feels like a journey back in time. The view of the Colosseum from here is absolutely breathtaking. Although the staff may not be very friendly, don't let that deter you; being here is well worth it. It's not an ideal location for kids, strollers, or wheelchairs.

The Roman Forum is an enthralling site where history comes alive. Walking among the ancient ruins of temples, basilicas, and arches made me feel like I had stepped back into the heart of ancient Rome. The atmosphere is extraordinary, and the views of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill are breathtaking. I recommend visiting early in the morning or later in the afternoon when there are fewer crowds. For history lovers, this place is an absolute must-see!
