A lovely spot to visit and enjoy a beer from the bar. It's small but offers great views, and I appreciate the art they've implemented here. You can see the planes arriving at the smaller airport in Rio quite clearly.

Parque das Ruínas is one of my go-to places in Santa Teresa, the artsy, bohemian heart of Rio. The combination of modern designs integrated into the old, decaying mansion walls gives it so much charm. Make sure to climb to the top—the panoramic view of Rio is astonishing, with clear views of Pão de Açúcar and Cristo Redentor. I also enjoyed the art exhibition in the basement, which provided an unexpected cultural touch. Plus, there's a cozy outdoor café where you can relax with a coffee. This place truly feels special and is a must-visit!

A hidden gem with stunning views of Sugarloaf. Unfortunately, it was under refurbishment during my visit, so many areas were closed. However, I recommend exploring the ruins and heading to the top for an amazing 360-degree panoramic view. There are also various musical events occurring regularly in the cultural center (within the ruins), so check the schedule to time your visit for something extra.

We visited this place while strolling from the famous steps to the Santa Teresa neighborhood. It offers great views over the downtown area on one side and Sugarloaf Mountain on the other. There's a nice bar where you can take a break with coffee or cocktails!
