This is an incredible castle! I highly suggest purchasing tickets in advance. The grounds open early in the morning and close in the evening. However, many areas within the castle have specific opening times and require tickets. Make sure to plan your visit thoroughly, buy your tickets ahead of time, and do your research. It's a beautiful place and worth the experience.

What a fascinating place to see! There are many sections of the castle to explore. You can view most of the grounds for free or pay to enter several buildings inside the castle. Ticket purchase areas are available outside each admission-required area. There's even a Starbucks inside the castle, along with another cafe, gift shop, and food options. If you buy a ticket for Golden Lane, you'll access several unique gift shops with special items. There are many steps and different paths to explore, so make sure to stretch before starting your adventure through the castle.
Prague Castle, established in 880, is an exquisite medieval historic complex showcasing Gothic, Baroque, and Romanesque architecture. Notable highlights include St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, and Golden Lane, all of which offer rich history and breathtaking views of the city. Since it can get quite crowded, it's best to visit early.

What a stunning building, definitely worth the entrance fee! The cathedral is magnificent and particularly enchanting during Christmas. Golden Lane is a must-visit as well. It was busy but not overwhelming. The changing of the guard was fascinating and well worth the wait.

This castle is fabulous to visit, but be prepared for the steep climb to reach it. The buildings are gorgeous and incredibly well-preserved, with plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants, and free restrooms throughout the area. The castle is massive, and if you visit at the right time, you can witness the changing of the guard. One downside is the modern branded signage on the buildings, like Starbucks (refer to the photos).
