The walk is worth it, whether you go through the park along the steep path or take the many steps. The entry fee is reasonable, and a small museum is also available. You can reach the top by steps or by taking the lift. The views of Prague are fantastic when the weather is sunny and clear. It's definitely worth a visit, but be prepared for the effort it takes to get here.

What an amazing view! We had an incredible experience at the Petřín tower. The sights were beautiful, allowing us to see all around the city. We appreciated having separate steps to ascend and descend the tower, making our visit easy-going. Climbing to the two viewing platforms was manageable, with one halfway up being open air and the top one enclosed. My friend felt a bit dizzy due to the tower swaying in the wind, and we both felt sore from the hike up the hill. We later found out a funicular could have taken us up. We bought tickets online which allowed us to skip the queue for a small extra fee, which was a great decision. Even on a cloudy day, the views were remarkable. Tip: Watch out for the ladybirds on the stairs!

This place is definitely worth a visit. Although we didn't reach the viewing platform because there is no lift and my partner is disabled, the views are absolutely stunning. The site features mini places of worship and a fascinating Mirror Maze. Be sure to stop by the café for a delicious hot chocolate or a delightful glass of prosecco.
Prices can be quite high at this site. The ticket for adults is 220 CK if you choose to walk up the stairs, while taking the lift adds an extra 150 CK, bringing the total to 370 CK for adults. For a family of four, the cost is 440 CK if going by stairs, which can be steep. The views from the top are fantastic but limited to that one platform. It may not be worth such a high price, but there are many beautiful photo opportunities along the way or near Prasky Hrad, which are free.

We visited this stunning place during our New Year’s Eve trip to Prague in 2024. Although we intended to take the tram to the top, it was out of service for the holidays. Therefore, we walked up the hill, taking breaks for photos, and it turned out to be the best decision. The path through the beautiful green park offers breathtaking views of Prague. The surprise came when we reached the top, where the view is simply magnificent. The journey is long and tiring, but the mini hike is worthwhile. If walking is difficult, trams are also available. As a tip, we enjoyed our ascent in the afternoon, which turned magical as it got dark and light snowfall transformed the area into a fairytale scene. This location is quiet, clean, safe, and picturesque—don’t miss it, especially at night. There are lights along the way for a romantic ambiance.
