A relatively small and contemporary museum spread over three stories that showcases Prague's history from the 13th century to the 1990s. It highlights a rich timeline from the Habsburg monarchy to the post-communist era. Definitely worth a visit, and there was no wait. The view from the top is impressive.

The museum is quite small and somewhat disappointing. It lacks a welcoming atmosphere, as every exhibition room is literally behind closed doors. While it does provide a history of Prague, the presentation is neither engaging nor fun. Exhibits feature concise information in both Czech and English, which makes it feel more suited for locals or highly interested tourists.

During my visit, the museum was undergoing renovations, so access was not possible.

The museum was closed and there was construction all around, making it completely inaccessible. It's utterly disgraceful that there's no notice on Google Maps about this—it wasted 2 hours of my time during my holiday.

According to Google Maps, the museum was open, but I found it closed when I arrived!
