The palace is breathtaking. It is a must-visit if you are in Paris. The palace features numerous portraits, chandeliers, and magnificent rooms, all well-decorated and maintained. The highlight is the long courtyard filled with chandeliers and mirrors shimmering in beauty. There are plenty of photo opportunities, and the place can become quite crowded, so I recommend arriving early in the morning for a leisurely visit. Go for it 👍🏻🤩

This is one of the most stunning palaces in Europe. This year, 2025, the 400-year history is being celebrated. The history is beautifully showcased in many of the state apartments that are open to the public. I highly recommend the King's Private Chambers tour, which takes you to lesser-known areas. If your guide can get you into the Theatre, it's phenomenal. Make sure to buy a timed ticket in advance as it gets very busy. I purchased an annual pass for two since we're visiting three times during our stay, and it offers better value.

It was truly an unforgettable experience. The restoration and upkeep of the property is remarkable. It felt like traveling back in time. Everything is preserved beautifully, and I appreciated the meticulous attention to detail in maintaining the original essence. It was gorgeous. The sculptures and busts appeared even more impressive in real life, and I would love to revisit. I highly recommend this experience.

There were a lot of people. I can only imagine how it must be in summer. I would suggest having a guide and participating in a group tour to avoid long lines and to learn more. They offer audio guides if you decide to come on your own. With the extensive gardens, you could spend an entire day there, but our tour lasted 2.5 hours.

Visiting during the off-season is ideal, and I recommend arriving early. I had the 10:00 am slot, it was slightly busy, but some areas remained peaceful. I stayed until around 5:30 pm. I suggest bringing lunch as the café is pleasant but not exceptional. Also, be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes!
