Currently, there are three temporary exhibitions. The ones about photography and the 35th anniversary of Antam are nice but quite small. The exhibition titled L'intime is somewhat interesting, though not stunning. What I enjoyed the most were the olfactory experiences with perfumes (you could press a button and a diffuser released the scent) and the diverse assortment of atypical chairs/sofas at the end.

An informative exhibition focused on the history of department stores in Paris, which is essential for understanding the city's character and navigating its prime shopping locations. There is also a souvenir shop at the entrance where you can purchase a dedicated book on the topic. It was quite busy even on a weekday afternoon.

This museum was truly fascinating. During my visit, there were two major exhibits: one focused on fashion and jewelry design, and the other on grands magasins. It was well-presented, with English descriptions available alongside French ones. However, I thought the entry fee of €15 per person was a bit steep. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend anyone in the area to see these two exhibits.

A fantastic museum that emphasizes artifacts over paintings. It consistently hosts remarkable special exhibitions.

We visited primarily for the jewelry collection. If you have any interest in jewelry history or renowned designers, this is a must-see! I hear the rest of the museum is also delightful, though it’s not my area of expertise. After I scoped out one of the galleries, I learned that photography isn’t allowed. However, there is a great museum catalog of the jewelry collection that won’t exceed your luggage weight limit.
