Macy’s in New York during the holiday season is truly magical! The Christmas decorations are stunning, featuring twinkling lights and festive displays, creating an enchanting atmosphere that embodies the holiday spirit. It's like entering a winter wonderland right in the city.
I stopped by to grab a pair of gloves, and the experience was perfect. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the gloves were exactly what I wanted—both stylish and warm. I also used the gift-wrapping service, which was delightful! They wrapped the gloves beautifully, and the service was quick and professional.
Macy’s has always been a holiday favorite, and this visit reinforced why it’s such an iconic destination. Highly recommended for both shopping and soaking in the festive vibes!
Visiting Macy’s in NYC on December 30 was like stepping into a dazzling, festive whirlwind. The holiday spirit was vibrant, with every corner decorated in twinkling lights and glamorous displays. Navigating through the dense holiday crowds was an adventure—throngs of last-minute shoppers created an electric buzz that felt quintessentially New York.
The energy was contagious, despite the challenge of weaving through the packed aisles. The iconic wooden escalators carried me between floors filled with an impressive selection that did not disappoint. From exclusive holiday collections to unbeatable year-end deals, Macy’s was overflowing with options.
Sure, the crowds tested my patience, but they also added to the magic. Everyone was there for the same reason: to soak in the last glimmers of the season in one of the most iconic shopping destinations in the world. Despite the chaos, the staff remained impressively helpful and organized—a testament to their experience during the holiday rush.
Visiting Macy’s during the holiday season is more than shopping; it’s immersing yourself in a piece of New York’s festive history. If you can handle the crowds, it’s absolutely worth it.
What a beautiful store located in downtown Manhattan! You can find pretty much anything here at fantastic prices. We were in New York for a few days, and my wife took me here three times before she finally chose what she wanted. Great prices on clothing, shoes, colognes, watches, and more! The top floor features the old wooden escalator, which was unique for us.
An absolutely enormous department store - probably the largest in NYC, spanning over 8 floors with hundreds of brands. The first few floors mainly feature luxury goods, with discounts available as you go up the store.
It's worth a visit for the experience or some good window shopping. It reminds me a bit of Harrods from the UK, although this is a more toned-down version. The staff are friendly, and service is efficient, even with the many cash registers present. The exterior design welcomes visitors well, giving off a posh vibe that catches the eye! Plus, there's a unique wooden escalator around the seventh or eighth level. There are a couple of food and beverage outlets within the vast layout, so you don't have to worry about hunger!
This was the largest Macy’s store I’ve ever visited and surprisingly it's the biggest store in the USA. The Christmas decorations inside were amazing and mesmerizing. They had fun activities outside that attracted many bystanders. You can find all the popular brands here. I saw many brands that I buy at lower prices on sale, and unlike online shopping, you can try before you buy. A great place to shop!
