What an amazing experience! The Intrepid Museum is a must-see for fans of history and aviation. Exploring the aircraft carrier is breathtaking, and the variety of planes, helicopters, and even a Concorde is remarkable. The Space Shuttle Pavilion was truly a standout—witnessing the Enterprise up close was extraordinary. The displays are well-curated, with lots of interactive features for both children and adults. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable, always ready to help. Plan to dedicate several hours here, as there's a wealth of exhibits. I highly suggest purchasing tickets in advance to avoid long lines. If you're in NYC and have a passion for military history, aviation, or space, this museum is a must-visit!

An incredible opportunity to explore an aircraft carrier and submarine! Both vessels have significant historical relevance, from WW2 to the Cold War. I wish there was an F-18 included, as that would be an excellent addition to the museum! The Space Shuttle Enterprise is truly magnificent, and it's a unique chance to see it up close—although it would be even better if entry was allowed. My family and I had a wonderful time at the museum!

What can I say? I was extremely impressed with the overall experience; the information and exhibits were outstanding. This, combined with the veterans on the Intrepid and the Growler submarine sharing their insights, was exceptional. It's a fantastic experience for adults, while kids will be captivated by the evolution of technology and the size of the vessels compared to modern ships. It's something everyone should witness at least once to appreciate what their grandparents experienced.

We visited during the kids' week with the entire family. There are numerous interesting and educational activities for both boys and girls. Many exhibits, real equipment, and scientific articles. You could take a picture with Star Wars characters, enter a lottery, use a 3D printer, sit in aircraft equipment, and much more. The staff were kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

Are you interested in military history, aviation, or do you hold deep respect for our service members? If yes, you’ll absolutely enjoy a visit to the USS Intrepid. It’s truly a gem and a landmark in American history and might. If you're in NYC, I can't recommend this enough. Moreover, active duty/veterans get free entry. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!
