This museum offers a fantastic experience! They generously provided free tickets during the holidays. The art collections were remarkable, featuring a blend of classic and modern pieces that appeal to diverse tastes. It was a bit crowded due to the free admission, but visitors were respectful, maintaining a calm atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, which enhanced the experience. If you seek something inspiring this holiday season, I highly recommend this museum!

This museum showcases many works by local Canadian artists, making it a fantastic place to discover Canadian art. It is one of Montreal’s iconic buildings. The architecture and gallery layouts are stunning—the building itself feels like a work of art in the city. The exhibition spaces are expansive, spread across different sections, each with unique styles yet beautifully connected. The design is brilliant! 👍 I recommend dedicating half a day for your visit.

I really enjoy visiting this museum as it consistently features various exhibitions that warm my heart. I'm thrilled they offered free admission for the holidays this year. I visited with my mother from Mexico, who is a history enthusiast; she was overjoyed to see the exhibition on native Mexican cultural artifacts. We also appreciated the exhibitions showcasing other cultures, such as African and Japanese. The traditional paintings and modern art were stunning. I had a wonderful time!

An incredible place to visit if you love art and architecture or are looking for something to do. The general museum admission is free, which is fantastic, and the special exhibitions are affordably priced. I recommend taking the metro or bus instead of driving to avoid hassle. Many people are unaware that several of Napoleon's personal belongings are on display here, so art and history enthusiasts should definitely check that out!

My visit on a Wednesday was pleasant; however, I made the mistake of arriving at 4 p.m. as the permanent artwork galleries close early for Culture Wednesdays. It’s better to choose another day if you plan to pay full price, or visit after 5 p.m. when the temporary exhibitions open at a reduced rate. There is also a lovely gift shop, and I almost bought a lot of items, but wasn’t sure I could carry them back to Toronto.
