I attended the Folklore Ballet and had an incredible experience. The costumes were stunning and the music fantastic. It’s wise to purchase tickets ahead of time via Ticketmaster. Most people wore casual attire, so formal wear isn't necessary. The performance is lengthy; we left after an hour and a half. It could have been a five-star experience if it hadn't included a surprising and inappropriate portrayal of an Arabic man and blackface. This should definitely be addressed in future shows.

This building deserves a five-star rating. The art collection, aside from the iconic murals, is a three, so let’s average it to a four. The architecture is lavish with rich marble, onyx, and travertine. The lobby showcases beautiful Mexican art deco, which is breathtaking. Each floor features large murals, the most notable being Diego Rivera's depiction of Stalin's Red Army triumphing over capitalism. It's fascinating, even if the political commentary feels outdated. Entry fee is $95, but take note, the theater isn’t included.

I experienced the folk dancing performance in Mexico, and it was one of the highlights of my trip to the vibrant Mexico City. The show was well-executed and the costumes were gorgeous. The musicians were exceptionally talented. Tickets for the top section were only about US$13, and visibility was perfect. They even have a 9:30 AM show, and since I couldn't buy tickets online, I went to the box office beforehand which was very easy. Just a heads-up, they only accept cash.

This site is so visually striking that it cannot be overlooked while strolling through downtown Mexico. It hosts numerous cultural events like folk ballets and other performances which must be pre-booked. At night, it looks even more beautiful thanks to the lighting. There is also a lovely park beside it, along with charming shops to explore.

An awe-inspiring Art Deco masterpiece. The contrast between the building's exterior and interior design is remarkable. The main level provides free access and stands as one of the best examples of Art Deco architecture globally. Renew your belief in humanity and visit this masterpiece. I assure you, it will be worth your while!
