This museum is a must-visit if you enjoy black and white photography. It beautifully narrates the history of Morocco, including Marrakech and other stunning cities. The three-story layout can be explored in about an hour, and the entrance fee of 6€ per person is definitely worth it. Don't miss the rooftop, where you can have drinks and take in the view - I had a refreshing citron + mint juice! (Feb 2025)
This is a charming place that comes highly recommended. The entry fee is 100MAD for two adults and one child. While you can stroll through quickly, taking the time to read each biography linked to the photographs can easily extend your visit to a couple of hours. There's a quaint café on the roof serving traditional Moroccan dishes—we enjoyed a Taze, mint tea, and various dips/drinks.
Featuring three floors of both black and white and color photography, the museum has a captivating documentary about the Berbers on the top floor. The terrace is absolutely stunning. We visited twice at sunset, and it was a magical experience hearing the call to prayer.
This is a delightful venue with a fantastic rooftop. I visited in the last hour to catch the sunset, which painted the sky with beautiful colors. The photo exhibition showcases numerous faces and everyday life scenarios of various ethnic groups in Moroccan history. There's also a video section dedicated to cultural dances, and they sell copies of the most renowned artworks.
This quaint museum located in a beautiful riad showcases a lovely exhibition. The entrance fee is 60MAD, which is quite reasonable compared to other tourist attractions. The terrace and cafe at the top are wonderful places to watch the sunset. My only suggestion would be to increase the variety of photos and provide more historical context.
