Although I'm not particularly an art enthusiast, I found this museum impressive. I recognized several well-known artists, and the entrance fee was relatively low compared to the Prado Museum. If you're considering a visit to a museum, this one is worth it. I spent about two hours there, which felt sufficient, but you could definitely linger longer if you want to appreciate the expansive collection more. I bought my ticket on-site, and the wait was surprisingly short.

Though not overwhelmingly large, the museum exhibits carefully curated art. I was surprised to learn that the collection is private. What impressed me most was the extensive selection of American art, including realism and photorealism, complemented by works from major artists in impressionism, cubism, and even back to the 15th century. I'm excited to return to Madrid and explore this amazing collection again!

We visited the permanent collection, which was free on Monday from midday until 4pm. We didn't have to wait to enter, and in October, the museum wasn't too crowded. There’s a cloakroom available for backpacks. The collection is diverse and intriguing, featuring several famous paintings. Exploring took about an hour and a half.

We began our visit on the third (Euro-2nd) floor and ran out of time. We had just ten minutes to glimpse the first (EU-0) floor and realized that's where the essential pieces are located. I recommend starting there. The museum suggests doing a bit of research on the collection before your visit, which we didn't do, as it was somewhat of a spur-of-the-moment decision. Nevertheless, the experience was rewarding. Not having time to explore the ground floor only gives us another excuse to return to Madrid.

This is truly a must-visit museum in the world; the experience is unforgettable. The cafe was also excellent. Art lovers and casual visitors alike should not miss it. Plan to spend 2-3 hours here.
