I hiked to the Hollywood sign via Canyon Drive at sunrise. The round trip took about 3 hours, but I spent a lot of time at the summit taking pictures. The hike is relatively easy, well paved with slight elevation. I highly recommend doing this at sunrise; there are no crowds, no heat, and the views are beautiful.

It was nearly an 8-mile round trip walk from the parking lot to the Hollywood sign and back. I even met a famous retired boxer on the trail who was still training. For his privacy, I won’t mention his name, but the experience was amazing. I highly recommend the hike to the Hollywood sign.

The hike to the top was great! I used Google Maps for guidance. There’s a sign and what looks like a locked door along the route that says no entry to Hollywood sign; it’s usually unlocked, so you can go through. The hike is well worth it. Don't forget to bring water and snacks. At the end, try delicious fruit from a vendor at the street entrance.

I finally made it to the Hollywood Sign! I captured awesome pictures and videos too. It’s quite a distance to get close, but it’s a major tourist attraction with many visitors. The Hollywood sign is such an iconic symbol of Los Angeles, and I'm sure the views from up there must be amazing. It’s wonderful that you got to experience it! Cherish those memories!
