Disneyland Anaheim was an incredible experience for our family! We divided our trip across two days—one day for Disneyland Park and another for Adventure Park, and the kids were absolutely delighted. The Disneyland mobile app and maps proved essential for monitoring wait times and planning our rides strategically. It’s vital to choose rides carefully to steer clear of long waits, as some attractions are less crowded later in the day.
I highly suggest booking a hotel with a shuttle service; it saves a lot of time and adds convenience to the experience. We took a midday break to return to the hotel for a quick nap and returned at sunset feeling refreshed. The app helped us manage our time, letting us enjoy more rides without needing separate lighting tickets.
Additional Tips:
• Arrive Early: Getting to the parks when they open allows for enjoying some of the most popular rides with shorter lines.
• Pack Essentials: Bring water bottles, snacks, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes to enhance your day.
• Plan Meals: Dining can get busy during peak hours, so think about eating early or late to avoid crowds.
• Keep a Backup Battery: The app is crucial for making the most of your day, so ensure your phone stays charged with a portable charger.
• Evening Parades and Fireworks: To get a good view, arrive at least 30-45 minutes early to claim your spot.
With a little planning and flexibility, your Disneyland trip can truly be magical!

Did I have a great experience? Absolutely! There are many rides, but if you are someone who seeks huge drops and thrilling experiences, you might want to head to Adventure Park instead. It’s the best amusement park I’ve visited so far, but I expected a bit more to live up to the hype. Some of the rides felt a bit outdated.
Best rides: Star Wars, Space Mountain, Indiana Jones.
Be sure to download the Disney park app for smooth navigation and updates on wait times.

What an incredible place! The love is palpable. My 3-year-old daughter had a fantastic time, even though she wasn’t familiar with many characters. Now she can remember a bunch of their names!

I’ve been to Disneyland several times before, but this was my first visit in winter with all the Christmas decorations. I highly recommend checking the schedule for parades and restaurants due to limited seasonal options. The Disneyland app was essential for using the lightning lane pass, ordering food, and checking estimated wait times for rides.
A tip I’d recommend is definitely getting the lightning lane pass if the rides you’re interested in are included. You can reserve a spot every two hours. The availability seems to decrease throughout the day. I was able to enjoy all the rides, with my favorites being Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Space Mountain.
There are numerous food options as you spend the day there. I tried Galactic Grill, Plaza Inn, Alien Pizza Planet, and many more. I highly recommend placing your order through the app to skip the long lines. My favorite meal was from Plaza Inn—it was delightful!
If you’re a fan of fireworks, definitely stick around between 9-9:30 PM for the fantastic show. I witnessed the beginning but left midway to dodge the exiting crowd.

Holidays at Disneyland Resort are my favorite time of year! Every visit brings a completely different adventure. The cast members are always kind and knowledgeable, extending joy and smiles. The pin trading trivia is delightful, and the food is consistently delicious, no matter what you choose to eat from throughout the park. This is undoubtedly my happy place that I adore visiting as often as I can.
