Trafalgar Square is one of London’s most famous public spaces, rich in history and vibrant energy. At its center stands Nelson’s Column, surrounded by majestic lion statues and beautiful fountains. The square buzzes with life, featuring street performers, tourists, and cultural events throughout the year. It’s a fantastic place to unwind, capture photos, or admire nearby attractions like the National Gallery. In the evening, the illuminated fountains enhance the charm. An excellent location for quality time with family, bustling with energy on both weekdays and weekends. During Christmas week, the square was festive, adorned with a magnificent Christmas tree and numerous stalls offering food and drinks. The atmosphere was enchanting.

It was a busy time of year to visit, with a Christmas market by the art gallery and carolers performing in the square. The Christmas tree is a gift from Norway and is adorned with lights hung vertically in a traditional Norwegian style, looking quite different from the typical decorations. The atmosphere was delightful.
