Impressive coverage of the period from pre 1660 to 1815, which I find particularly fascinating. World War II enthusiasts may wish for more information. The museum features a great assortment of artifacts, is well-organized, and provides plenty of reading material. It's also a treat to see the Queen's last side saddle riding uniform from Trooping the Colour.

This venue is very intriguing and offers extensive information about the King's Guards Platoons. It's definitely worth a visit and very reasonably priced for entry, especially in London - £10 for adults and £7 for seniors. Veterans enjoy additional discounts as well. You can also access the Guards Chapel, which is steeped in history, featuring memorials to all the Guards and Troops Colour Flags.

Though small, the museum is quite comprehensive and likely deserves more space for its undoubtedly extensive archives. The unique military relics on display make it a must-see for anyone interested in military history.

I had a great time visiting this place. The information about the guards is extensive, and I recommend starting with the introductory video that explains the various uniforms of the five regiments. The Coldstream guards, the oldest regiment dating back to 1650, and the Grenadier guards, established in 1656 as the most senior, are particularly notable. You can identify regiments by the button configuration on their dress uniforms. The museum effectively highlights the longstanding role of the guards throughout different wars. At the end, you will see uniforms worn by Queen Elizabeth as 'Colonel in Chief' of the Grenadier guards. Additionally, the senior discount makes the entry fee very affordable at £5.
