I absolutely love this place! I've visited it twice, once during the summer, and again in winter, which I prefer. The beauty and tranquility of the area are stunning. The grounds around the observatory are perfect for a relaxing walk. The maritime museum is a highlight and definitely worth checking out, plus the cafe offers delicious food. The staff were incredibly helpful everywhere. It's a short walk from the DLR, and the shopping area adds to the quaint charm. Definitely worth a visit, but be prepared for some pricey tickets.

My partner and I had a fantastic day at the observatory and planetarium. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. There's a quaint gift shop on site at both the observatory and planetarium filled with related souvenirs. The planetarium show was incredible, and I can't wait to see it again! Overall, it was a lovely day out with plenty to explore, plus it’s just a short distance from Greenwich when you start feeling hungry.

This place is truly beautiful, with amazing scenery. However, there are a few drawbacks. The main one is the steep hill you have to climb, which could be challenging if you're bringing a stroller. Additionally, there’s a section that requires an entry fee. The museum is excellent, showcasing the history of clocks. Overall, I believe this is a destination worth visiting.

The Royal Observatory is an essential stop for anyone fascinated by astronomy, history, or looking for stunning city views. Established in 1675 by King Charles II, it is the oldest scientific institution in Britain and has played a crucial role in the development of astronomy and navigation. One of the best parts is standing on the Prime Meridian Line, where you can have one foot in the eastern hemisphere and the other in the western hemisphere - a fantastic photo opportunity! The observatory also houses London’s only planetarium, which presents engaging shows that make complex astronomical concepts accessible and entertaining for visitors of all ages.
