We hosted our wedding reception at The Fan Museum, and it was stunning. The venue, a beautiful Georgian house, made for the perfect backdrop for our special day. The museum is worth visiting for anyone interested in its rich history and magnificent collection.\n\nOur wedding day was incredible, and being in such a lovely, unique venue made it even more memorable. A special thank you to Sophie and the staff, who were exceptional in assisting us with planning and ensuring everything went smoothly.\n\nI highly recommend The Fan Museum, whether you're planning a wedding or just seeking a remarkable place to visit. A small collection of fans, beautifully displayed in an elegant 18th-century house. The ground floor features a small display and a gift shop. Upstairs is another collection shown in two open-plan rooms, allowing for quick viewing. I think the £5 entry might be a bit pricey given the amount of items on display, but with property prices and staffing costs in the area, they probably need to charge that amount. Yet, if you are a fan enthusiast, you'll appreciate it. There is a charming tea room in the back. I didn't have time to visit, but it looked delightful. I posted a few pictures of the museum. I rated it 3 stars, as there isn't much to see, but it is in a lovely house and has a quirky vibe, so stop by if you’re around.
