We had a wonderful experience at Buckingham Palace! There was a lieutenant saluting the King during our visit, which made it quite busy, but we were still able to enjoy the Royal Band's performance. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful as well.

What an incredible sight! It was packed when we arrived, especially as we caught the guards just as they showed up, making the crowds larger than usual. Standing outside opposite the gates is an absolute must-do when visiting London.

I visited during the second week of January on a weekday, and it was surprisingly less crowded than expected. Although there were still many people, it wasn't too overwhelming. I recommend getting tickets in advance if you plan to tour. The guard changes are clearly detailed online, so make sure to arrive early!

Last August, we had an unforgettable experience exploring the State Rooms and gardens of Buckingham Palace. It's open for a limited time each year, mostly from July to September, with set hours. The palace itself is stunning, featuring decorative ceilings and priceless art. Touring the rooms where the King holds ceremonies was captivating. Don’t miss the Garden Tour, as the gardens are a tranquil getaway from the city's hustle, filled with unique plant species and the famous Helicopter Lawn. End your visit with coffee and cake at the terrace café overlooking the gardens. If visiting in summer, be sure to book ahead since tickets sell out fast. It's a must-see for anyone interested in history or architecture!
