This was a perfect restroom stop between the monastery and the Belem Tower. The contemporary building is quite impressive. Art might not be my favorite, but this space feels solid and robust like a bunker.

Stunning modern art exhibition! The free museum was nearly empty on Sunday morning when the Jerónimos Monastery had a long queue. Beautiful gardens in front and a nice stroll along Torre de Belém with tourists, music, and historic boats passing by, all with Cristo Rey across the Tagus River.

If you appreciate a warm modernist facade coupled with well-shaded open areas, the Contemporary Art Museum won’t disappoint. The permanent collection is outstanding, featuring greats like Man Ray, Mondrian, Picasso, Lee Krasner, Yves Klein, and Warhol. The experience in this museum is truly delightful. Plus, the coffee is fantastic, especially enjoyed on the shaded terrace overlooking a peaceful courtyard under a clear blue sky.

The CCB Museum in Lisbon is a must-visit for art enthusiasts! The modern architecture wonderfully complements the diverse exhibitions. Whether you're into contemporary art, design, or cultural history, there is always something inspiring to discover. The curation is excellent, featuring local and international artists in well-thought-out displays. The museum’s serene riverside location makes it an ideal space to absorb culture for a few hours. I highly recommend the CCB Museum; it's one of the best spots to experience Lisbon's vibrant art scene.

Great views! I didn't go inside because of the long queue. I recommend taking a waterfront cruise around the area!
