It's important to note that bargaining is not applicable for food or drink purchases. From my experience visiting repeatedly, consider it more of a tourist attraction than a serious marketplace with quality assurance.

I visited Petaling Street with my siblings two weeks ago. I prefer the morning hours since it's less crowded, allowing for unobstructed photos of the architecture. There are many historic buildings and plaques at both ends of the street worth checking out. Additionally, there are several hidden food stalls that are delightful if you’re up for exploring the entire area. The local government and community are dedicated to maintaining the old street vibe for tourists. It’s known for stalls selling branded products, but be careful, as counterfeit items can often be found here.
