Mamilla is a historic neighborhood that bridges Old and New Jerusalem. The journey of this area, from destruction to renewal, starts at Jaffa Gate, once lined with shops, consulates, and banks that extended to today’s IDF Square. It features a lovely promenade filled with excellent brand stores for discerning shoppers. Additionally, the complex hosts several fine dining options and cafes, perfect for a shopping break. It is strategically located between the Old City and Jaffa Street.
An upscale and trendy mall with numerous shops and eateries. In the evening, the atmosphere livens up with music and even live line dancing events. It’s a cool place, although it does feel similar to many other malls.
Mamilla Avenue is among my favorite spots in Jerusalem; I absolutely enjoy it there. You can easily spend your afternoon indulging in shopping and dining. Highly recommended!
This is an "atmospheric and historical shopping-entertainment street." A beautifully quaint historical street where the ground level gradually rises towards the entrance of the Old City. It features many shops and restaurants, with the entrance to Mamilla Mall at the center. While the mall is small, the entire street serves as a shopping center. The most enchanting aspect is not just the shops or restaurants but the street itself, showcasing a blend of historic architecture and modern design, along with vibrant evening lights and art installations for sale. It’s a must-see for tourists and locals alike.
Mamilla Mall is the most modern shopping destination in Jerusalem, reflecting international fashion trends. Ideally located between the city center and the Old City, it features luxury brands such as Burberry, Gucci, and Valentino, alongside more affordable stores like Zara and Nike. The complex also offers several coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques by Israeli designers. However, parking can be expensive.
