An excellent place to conclude your Vietnam trip. You can find almost anything here for souvenirs, including magnets, local and imported coffee, clothing, jewelry, food, drinks, bags, and much more. The prices are fair if you negotiate a bit, but don't push too hard since the vendors also need to make a living. Note that the market begins to close around 7 PM, so it's best to visit in the early evening. The exterior buildings offer a stunning city skyline for a leisurely stroll later in the evening.
This market is bustling with visitors looking for souvenirs and affordable goods. Be ready to negotiate for the best deals. Personally, I'm not great at bargaining and I'm not even a big shopper, but I came to observe the lively exchanges between customers and sellers, which is a rare sight in my home country.
A fantastic spot for souvenir shopping. This iconic market has everything you need in one convenient location. Always negotiate, especially if you are a foreigner, as tourists are often charged more than locals who know the actual prices. If you plan to return, you can sometimes get a better price during your next visit. For Western sizes, be aware that you often need to go two sizes up; for instance, a medium here might actually be an XL. Vendors near the entrance usually have higher prices, so keep that in mind. Prices are often shared on calculators to avoid neighboring vendors overhearing the deals. If they don’t have your size, they can usually retrieve it from collaborating vendors. I hope my tips help improve your shopping experience—remember to bargain!
This market is always crowded and lies in the heart of District 1. I personally walked here from the War Museum, which is just 900 meters away. You'll find everything you anticipate in a market, from shoes and bags to sunglasses, watches, and food stalls. The quality might be questionable, but prices are significantly lower compared to Europe. Don't forget: you MUST negotiate the prices! For example, if they ask for $10, you could potentially buy it for $4! Vendors are always looking to make profit, so be friendly but wise. I picked up a North Face backpack for $15 when the initial asking price was $35. I absolutely recommend trying the delicious local food and the incredible variety of drinks, including fruit smoothies and iced teas. It's worth the visit!

It opens early and stays open late, catering to all daily needs, from food to clothing and various gifts. Prices are negotiable, so don't hesitate to bargain a little. There's a great variety and quality of items available.
