Visiting Kauppatori Market on Christmas Day was a truly special experience! To my surprise, many shops were still open at 10 AM, and we enjoyed the famous salmon soup and reindeer dishes—both were delicious and perfect for the cold weather. Additionally, you can find lovely souvenirs to remember your visit. It was a memorable Christmas with surprises and unforgettable moments!

The fresh and delicious food stalls at Kauppatori kept us there, almost missing our ferry! The fresh juice and coffee gave us the energy we needed to start our day. Arrive early because some stores close by noon.

I went with my husband for high tea, and the venue was lovely with great service! They had an interesting selection of teas. I was a bit disappointed with the variety of savory and sweet bites, as everything was tasty but not particularly unique.

I chose to stay near Kauppatori during a layover, thinking I could explore this market once it opened. At 6 AM, vendors started arriving, and by 8 AM, they were busy setting up. Although I couldn't wait for the full opening due to my flight, walking along the waterfront surrounded by beautiful architecture was a delightful experience. I gave it 4 stars to start.
