I had a wonderful experience; the architecture is as beautiful as it gets! I felt fortunate to walk along the old town walls of Dubrovnik. The entrance ticket is €35, but I recommend getting the 3-day pass for €45, which allows access to other museums as well.

The views from the promenade along the city walls and the sea are spectacular. There are some great bars and restaurants in the area too. It's worth doing some research on bus tours as some are better than others. The entrance to the Old Town can feel a bit narrow; however, visiting at the end of the tourist season was manageable, though summer days might be hectic. They manage the crowd well with a two-way system, and the nearby Pile stop is handy for public transport.

The old town of Croatia is absolutely beautiful, filled with historic buildings and plenty of dining and drinking options. Fans of Game of Thrones will find it particularly exciting, as there are shops for GOT merchandise. You could easily spend an entire day enjoying this area. It’s a must-see when visiting Croatia 🇭🇷.

One of the many gates leading into the beautiful old town of Dubrovnik. It's also the perfect starting point for exploring the famous city walls. It’s advisable to buy tickets in advance if you’re planning to visit during the peak season.

The Pile Gate is a major entrance into the Old Town. The gate is stunning, with vintage metal chains used in the past still in place. Be mindful that it can be quite crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons. The summer heat can be intense, so if you plan to visit, be sure to get your wall tour tickets and prepare yourself for stunning panoramic views from the walls and of the Adriatic Sea.
