The self-guided tour was excellent. I found it fascinating to learn about the history of Guinness and its community impact. The tour was well organized and I never felt rushed. Although it was busy, it wasn't overwhelming. The displays and interactive segments were superb. We included the Academy portion where they teach you to pour the perfect pint of Guinness. I also enjoyed learning about the barrel-making history (the cooperage). Overall, it was an outstanding visit.

Visiting the Guinness tour is essential! You not only discover the unique history of the beer but also witness the craftsmanship behind it, making the trip worthwhile. The care and dedication put into the beer can be felt, and the tour is a well-structured experience that prepares you for the tasting. Don’t miss out on visiting the gravity bar at the top level. Enjoying a perfectly poured Guinness while taking in the stunning cityscape is a must. There are also various eateries within the facility if you feel like grabbing a bite.

A fantastic museum even for non-beer drinkers! Be sure to buy tickets in advance. With its seven floors, it reminds me of the Guggenheim Museum. You journey all the way to the top where the Tap Room has two glass bars offering breathtaking views. We were blessed with a sunny day, and sitting in the sun was incredibly relaxing. That’s where you receive a complimentary beer. There's an abundance to explore.

During our weekend trip in Dublin, we had the delight of visiting the Guinness factory, which was extra special as my husband is a huge Guinness fan, and my father cherished it in the past. The tour started with an engaging overview of the brewing process, allowing us to appreciate the different ingredients that define the beer's unique taste. One highlight was the water feature within the facility, illustrating the crucial role of water in brewing. We explored the various aromas of the ingredients, providing a unique flavor experience during our visit. Learning about the farming techniques and tools involved added a captivating historical dimension to the brewing process. One of the peaks of our tour was the taste testing, where we enjoyed the beer from a small glass, enabling us to savor its rich flavor fully. We concluded our visit at the bar at the top of the factory, where we were rewarded with spectacular views of Dublin and the snowy mountains nearby, making it a perfect conclusion to our day at the Guinness factory. This trip not only increased our appreciation for Guinness but also deepened our understanding of its cultural importance in Ireland.

We opted for the VIP experience, which offers a thoroughly immersive four-hour tour into the inner workings and history of Guinness. This was undoubtedly one of the best tours we've undertaken. Our guide, Sebastian, was the perfect blend of knowledge and humor. We concluded with a three-course lunch, various tastings, and a pint (or more) at the Gravity Bar. It was well worth the expense! If you’re a Guinness enthusiast, make sure to treat yourself to this experience.
