We really enjoyed our time here. There is so much to see, and it's fantastic to see everything in one location. Although it appears small from the outside, it is actually quite expansive. There are some concerns regarding the sizes of the exhibits for flight and a few cleaning issues at times, but overall it was a good experience. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area, and don't miss the monkeys (be ready to queue!) - they made our day.

I truly love the World of Birds. I visit often since it’s authentic and wonderful. You get so close to the birds, which are stunningly exotic. It’s a delightful experience for all ages; children adore seeing the remarkable animals up close, and adults appreciate observing these beautiful creatures as well. The place is well maintained, and the animals seem to be well cared for. My only critique is that some cages could be roomier, but I understand the limited space needed for so many rescued animals.

World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary & Monkey Park is a beautiful destination. They have an excellent variety of birds from around the globe. There are some incredible, large, and vibrant ones! It’s astonishing how distinct these birds are, with some being very large and others quite small. This is a unique spot for nature and animal lovers. We highly recommend visiting when you are in Cape Town, South Africa!

This wildlife sanctuary has been a fixture for as long as I can remember. It remains unchanged - rustic and educational. Many birds and animals have been rescued; some were confiscated from neglectful owners and rehabilitated. All enclosures are well stocked with food and water, and although a few are small, they seem to provide adequate stimulation. I particularly enjoyed my time in the spider monkey enclosure. It was a nostalgic visit!

We joined a tour package that included the visit. It was fine... the tour was rather brief. I might not have visited if it wasn’t part of the package. However, spending time with animals is always a pleasure.
