Being atop this natural wonder is always a fantastic experience. Be advised that good weather attracts crowds, so it’s wise to arrive early for the first cable cars, or aim for around 2 PM to avoid long queues. The afternoon usually offers a slight reduction in ticket prices.
The views are stunning, but watch out for overpriced drinks and snacks. It's better to bring your own. Wear comfortable shoes and venture beyond the crowds to explore the table away from the shops and eateries. You'll find some well-maintained paths that lead to different views and experiences.
Always check the weather prior to your visit, as wind and rain could disrupt your plans. Currently, there are roadworks on Kloof Rd, so if you plan to drive, leave your car in the bottom parking area and take the free shuttle to the lower cable station for a stress-free experience.
