We traveled as a large group, making acquiring tickets to enter easy, as it was arranged beforehand.
Since the mosque is no longer functional and now used for wedding photos, wearing a headscarf is not mandatory; however, decent attire is still expected in any religious site.
Removing shoes is required, but disposable plastic wraps are available for purchase. I opted for this to focus on my photography without carrying my shoes, as keeping footwear on the mosque floor is unacceptable.
Inside, the mosque shines with enchanting lights and beautiful artwork on the walls and ceiling.
The garden outside is lovely as well, offering views of the pyramids on clear days.
The place is well kept, and I saw staff cleaning the floors frequently.
