The Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires is a must-visit. Its modern design blends beautifully with the green park next door, creating a great atmosphere before even stepping inside. The museum showcases stunning artworks from different time periods, but the highlight for me was the Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo collection. One thing that really stood out was the kind and knowledgeable museum staff. At every exhibition, there were employees providing insightful background on the artwork in both Spanish and English, which added so much to the experience. As a tourist, I was happy to pay the 9,000-peso entrance fee— it was absolutely worth it. If you appreciate Latin American art, this is a place you shouldn’t miss in Buenos Aires!

It’s a relatively small museum, but it’s clean and well maintained. However, regular adult tickets are 8,000 and we were able to get into the Museo de Arte Moderno for free, so would recommend trying that.

Only one level was open and as a consequence, it was a bit crowded in each room. There is an audio guide you can download, but not all of the pieces included in the guide were easy to find in the gallery. Although the art is very different in style, I much preferred visiting the Bella Artes museum.

Always a great museum to visit. Special exhibits are excellent. The ground floor cafe is one of the favorites in the city. The gift shop is packed with unique gifts for yourself and especially good when looking for that person who is difficult to get a gift for.

Thought provoking and diverse works of art. The Frida exhibit was a special surprise. Relaxed after my visit with a coffee on the museum terrace.
