A must-visit location. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The museum provides a timeline showcasing the progression of telegraph communication in Hungary, with displays in both Hungarian and English. It is a beautiful and tranquil spot for taking photographs.
Highly recommend! The building that houses the exhibition is impressive on its own (it features a grand antique stairwell, stunning stained glass windows, etc.). Regardless, the exhibition was extraordinary! The signage is available in both Hungarian and English, with some interactive elements that can be touched or tried out. The museum's staff was incredibly friendly; we found ourselves chatting about various artifacts in the rooms. She shared fascinating insights that made the captivating items even more intriguing. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would certainly recommend stopping by!
This was the first and only museum in Budapest that I visited for free. Perhaps they offer complimentary entries on Saturdays. The staff was very friendly and eager to assist me. Although the exhibition is small, it is worth a visit if you have some spare time. It would be beneficial if there were more English descriptions available. While some items had them, not all did.

The museum is fantastic, detailing the establishment and evolution of the Hungarian Post Office. The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful, readily answering numerous questions. We visited during the Night of the Museums and attended a captivating lecture about the relationship between radio and postal services. It was truly intriguing. I highly recommend this museum.
An amazing experience with great interactions with the museum staff. They demonstrated and explained the various functionalities and also illustrated practically how telegrams and traditional manual telephone lines operated. The collection includes some nice old postal items. A must-visit for anyone interested in philately.
