This large square is currently being renovated, particularly the main statue at its center. It is part of UNESCO's World Heritage program and features numerous statues honoring the founders of Hungary. Despite the ongoing construction, this site is essential for anyone in Budapest. The impressive architectural landmarks will captivate you as you approach the grand Millennium Monument. Additionally, art enthusiasts will appreciate the two museums flanking the square, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Hall of Art, which contain remarkable collections of European art spanning from the 13th to the 20th centuries. Visiting this square is a must, no matter how many times you've experienced Budapest.

This is a fantastic destination. However, there was construction work ongoing, which meant some scaffolding was in place during my visit. The surrounding area is lovely, but be prepared for large tour groups that can make it challenging to take good photos. The afternoon is the best time for capturing stunning pictures without shadows.

The 'Trafalgar Square' of Budapest! Truly impressive. Museums are located on both sides of the square, and it's situated at the end of Andrassy Avenue, the main street adorned with restaurants and shops, just past the diplomatic area.

A square adorned with magnificent statues of Hungary's heroes. It's an ideal location for an outing with your loved ones. I adore it for its outstanding architectural design. You can enjoy skating next to Heroes Square, which is accompanied by a lovely park, and there's even a gas balloon in the park. Be sure to visit at night for a different experience.
