This is an excellent spot for gathering souvenirs for your friends who couldn't make it to Budapest. While many stalls on the upper level offer similar items, it's worth exploring to find the best deals and try negotiating for discounts. I picked up some exquisite linens, handcrafted earrings, and unique ceramics. Everyone here is amicable and not overly pushy about sales. The lower level features numerous shops where you can buy palinka, paprika, meats, and even the iconic chimney cakes! A must-visit in a stunning old building!

The goulash we had here was absolutely flavorful and delicious, which is significant coming from someone who is quite selective about food. We also bought paprika that I highly recommend to all cooking enthusiasts out there—the flavor is incredible and distinctly different from that found in other countries. Additionally, we enjoyed freshly squeezed pomegranate and grapefruit juice! This is a must-visit if you find yourself in Budapest!

A lovely marketplace. The upper level features souvenirs and typical Hungarian street food, while the ground floor boasts one of Europe's biggest market halls, offering a great selection of meats, vegetables, fruits, and pretty much anything else you can think of!
