A fascinating experience! It's more akin to exploring an archive than a typical museum, which is delightful for historians like ourselves. The staff provides printouts, including an exciting treasure hunt to find notable stamps. The collection is organized by continent and territory.

We arrived with low expectations, but the vast stamp collection in the museum is remarkably well organized. This turned out to be one of the coolest museum experiences! We searched for specific stamps while also exploring random items. Many of the stamps are simply stunning. We learned a lot and had a wonderful time!

An unexpectedly interesting museum! The stamp collection, reportedly containing over half a million pieces, includes rare examples and stamps from various times across the globe! In one spacious room, there are numerous drawers for you to open freely, filled with six pages behind glass panels showing stamps. I've never encountered anything quite like it. They are organized by country, and the legend beside each block indicates the range for each state's stamps (in English, too). The helpful attendant, despite her limited English, assisted us greatly, explaining the collection’s organization and provided materials in English. Strangely, we were the only visitors during our time there, which allowed us to have a thorough look at many stamps. We spent a considerable amount of time and could have explored even more!

An intriguing experience with tens of thousands of stamps from various parts of the world and different eras. However, most information is solely in Hungarian, requiring you to navigate the details yourself. To see everything, you will need several days.

A lovely exhibition featuring an impressive collection of stamps from around the world, backed by very friendly staff. However, the exhibit texts are unfortunately only in Hungarian, which is quite disappointing. A must-see for anyone even slightly interested in stamps.
