The Historium in Bruges features a charming ancient building. Climbing the tower was easier than we anticipated—though the steps are narrow, the railings provide good support. The ticket costs €12 per person, reasonable for all ages. After taking in the panoramic view from the top, we explored the second floor before leaving. A fantastic experience, especially for stunning views of Bruges!

I absolutely love this place! They have excellent beers and a breathtaking view of Bruges market square. The balcony gets quite busy, but visiting is definitely worth it! They offer a good selection of beers, snacks, and souvenirs.

We visited during New Year’s week, and as expected, the area was very crowded. This was the first museum we explored, choosing both the tower visit and the VR experience. We had a brief wait for the tower (max 8 people at a time), and once on the steps, we understood why - they are quite tight and steep. The view from the top was amazing, showcasing the vibrant market square below. We also enjoyed walking around the spire. The halfway-down viewing balcony provided informative details along with beautiful views (don’t miss the nearby beer bar on the terrace!). The VR experience offered a fascinating journey through Bruges.

Exploring the history of Bruges was a delightful experience. I loved the museum visit alongside a short film. Be sure to take a photo with the stunning city view from the top floor. Additionally, you can indulge in beer tasting at the café, which, albeit a little pricey, added to our overall enjoyment.
