For anyone fascinated by medieval history, this museum is a must-visit. The tour is brief, taking about an hour if you examine all the displays. There is an array of torture devices, ranging from the traditional stocks to the feared iron maiden. The exhibits are hauntingly realistic, making you feel the anguish they represent. One highlight is a torture cell that immerses you in the experience, enhanced by the sound of dripping agony echoing around you. Entry is reasonably priced at just €9 per person. Additionally, there’s an extension focusing on witchcraft. If you come in January, you might have the museum all to yourself.

An intriguing experience! I entered the museum uncertain about what to expect, feeling reluctant at first due to concerns over fear factor. To my surprise, it was not scary at all but rather informative. I enjoyed discovering the variety of torture devices, some of which were shockingly cruel. This museum offers a unique perspective, tackling a grim subject matter that is essential for people to learn about.

Very gruesome yet fascinating! It was quite crowded during our visit, and due to the limited space, we all had to move in a single file line, which could be a little inconvenient.
