This museum is fantastic for families. Admission is free for kids under 12 (our 7-year-old didn't pay), and adult tickets cost 7 euros. They feature a vast collection of shipwreck artifacts, displayed excellently with context about why they sank and how the items were preserved. The upper floor focuses on Roman civilization and daily life, presented in a well-organized manner—one of the best Roman exhibits I've encountered, even better than some in Rome! Guided audio tours and printed materials are available to assist, as most display information is in Spanish. Be sure to visit; we spent 2 hours here. The restrooms were spotless and complimentary, plus there's a small vending machine, making it easy to get engrossed.

An engaging museum filled with interactive screens and information. However, it would be beneficial if more screens provided information in English.

The location is stunning and the collection is impressive. I found the audio tour challenging to comprehend initially, so it's advisable to check it at the reception right away since all content is presented in Spanish. The collection is valuable, and the presentation is tidy. At just 6 euros for the ticket, it was a worthwhile experience. The museum is situated in a lovely area that invites exploration.

The Catalan Museum of Archaeology offers a captivating look into the ancient history of Catalonia. Set within a picturesque historical building, it enhances the overall experience. The exhibits are well-curated, covering everything from prehistoric artifacts to Roman-era treasures. I appreciated the sections about ancient Catalan culture, particularly the Roman and Iberian displays. The museum ambiance is quiet and serene, perfect for immersing yourself in history. If you're interested in archaeology or history in general, this place is a must-visit!
